An Evening With The Hammer and The Hatchet

I was recently invited to a get-together here in the town where I live for a night of good times and even better music. I had never before heard The Hammer and The Hatchet, but to say I’m glad I went and discovered them would be a great understatement!

The Hammer and The Hatchet are a duo native to the Southern Indiana area. They have been building a following over the last few years, and it’s easy to understand why. Their music is a fresh blend of country, bluegrass, and folk. It’s easy to listen to, it’s easy to relate to, and that makes it easy to like.

The duo is comprised of John Bowyer and Jayme Hood. Bowyer is a man of multiple hats HH playingplaying multiple instruments, and playing them well. He and Hood blend well together, and the chemistry between them is as undeniable as their talent on display.

Here is all the video I took from that night at the Walnut Street Inn! If you like what you see and what you hear, be sure to go and like them on Facebook. Share the videos with your friends, and help spread the good word about this great duo! I will definitely be getting out to cover them again in the future! I will post links to their various websites below!
